Matt Stefanski is a digital/news content producer for NBC Chicago. An Emmy Award–winning broadcast journalist, he joined the station in July 2019 and supports digital storytelling across its editorial platforms while also contributing to on-air newscasts. Matt previously worked as a senior news producer at WNDU‑TV, the NBC affiliate in South Bend, Indiana, and served as a freelance correspondent for The Times of Northwest Indiana. He also held internships in print journalism, broadcasting and government. Matt is a graduate of Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, double‑majoring in journalism and political science with a specialization in broadcast journalism.
