The 5th annual Willow Glen 5K is a community event, supported by local and corporate sponsors, to benefit local schools. The annual event is a professionally-coordinated 5 kilometer road race through the downtown and surrounding streets of the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose. Racers, families, and neighbors will all join together at the finish line for a post-race festival that features a jam-packed kid's area, sponsor and donor booths, entertainment and a pancake breakfast.
Proceeds from the race go to Willow Glen Elementary and other local schools to fund arts, education, science, technology, sports and other programs.
