Fallon, Myers Present Made-for-TV Movie Posters

Jimmy Fallon and Mike Myers look back at posters from made-for-TV movies they appeared in together, including "Gerbil-Cano." (Published Friday, June 6, 2014)

Mike Myers and Jimmy Fallon presented posters for fake made-for-TV movies they claimed to have starred in on Thursday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”

But first, Myers talked about the odd places he has heard his several famous catchphrases spawned through his movies and work on “Saturday Night Live.”

Myers said one day he was sick with a flu and watching a hockey game on ESPN when one of the teams scored a goal with no goalie present. One of the announcers said, “Get in my belly,” a famous line from Myers’ movie "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me."

Myers also chatted about a new movie he has directed called called “Supermensch,” a funny documentary about Hollywood manager Shep Gordon.

Myers explained that Gordon represented Luther Vandross, invented the idea of the celebrity chef and even worked with the Dalai Lama.

"He's the nicest man I've ever met," Myers said. "He's Forrest Gump with a Brooklyn accent."

The two “Saturday Night Live” alums then reminisced about fake made-for-TV movies they said they appeared in together in the past, including “Gerbil-Cano” and “Oops, We’re in Space.” All with correspoding fake posters.

Fallon has also presented fake posters with actor Paul Rudd.

See the rest of the posters in the video above and you can see part of the interview below.
