A company best known for its frozen meals is expanding into the brick-and-mortar restaurant business.
Amy's Drive Thru, now open at 58 Golf Course Drive West in Rohnert Park, may be one of the first quick service drive thru restaurants in the country to focus on vegetarian and vegan offerings.
Veggie burgers, burritos and pizza are flagship items, all made with non-GMO and mostly organic ingredients, with vegan and gluten free versions of all menu items.
Customers can order their food to go from their car or dine inside the 140-seat restaurant.
Now open for lunch and dinner, there are plans to introduce breakfast in 2016.
