A busy Fremont Street reopened Monday, as construction wraps up there for BART's extension project.
Crews did a soft opening of Warren Avenue Saturday night, opening up one lane of traffic in each direction. The extension project will eventually bring BART to Silicon Valley.
Nearby restaurants and businesses said they were excited for the road to re-open, as many said they lost money from the closure.
Commuters use the road as an alternative to Mission Boulevard to get between highways 880 and 680.
