Firefighters with the Moraga-Orinda Fire District responded to two vegetation fires in the Moraga area early Wednesday morning.
The first fire was reported at 4:02 a.m. on Bollinger Canyon Road, according to fire officials.
Less than a quarter-acre of grass was quickly extinguished, with the help of fire crews from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and Cal Fire, according to fire officials.
At 4:26 a.m., a second fire was reported on Alta Mesa Drive, fire officials said.
The fire was quickly contained by firefighters to 1.2 acres within about 20 minutes. Contra Costa County firefighters also helped respond to the second blaze.
In both fires, there were no injuries reported, fire officials said.
