A 21-year-old woman reported missing after she was last seen Tuesday evening at a Mountain View gas station after arguing with her sister was found safe Wednesday, police said.
Melinda Alexander, who is not from the Bay Area, had last been seen at the Shell gas station at 807 N. Shoreline Blvd. around 7 p.m., police said.
She had been in an argument with her sister before she was dropped off at the gas station without her cellphone and identification, police said.
Alexander has family that lives in San Francisco and San Mateo counties, but no family members have heard from her, police said.
She was found safe in San Mateo County, police said.
