    A man sustained life-threatening injuries Saturday after being struck by a car in San Ramon, police said.

    The collision occured around 7:45 p.m. at the the intersection of Bollinger Canyon Road and Blueheart Way, according to police.

    The victim was airlifted to a hospital and the driver is cooperating with police.

    A section of Bollinger Canyon Road remains closed as authorities continue to investigate the scene, police said.
