    VTA light-rail service between Race Street and San Antonio in San Jose was temporarily halted Friday morning after a person was struck by a train.

    Officials said the person, who had not been identified, was struck by a southbound train coming out of the San Jose Diridon Station tunnel at about 8:50 a.m.

    The person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
