Concord Police responded to a fatal pedestrian crash at the intersection of Port Chicago Highway and Arnold Industrial Way Saturday.
At approximately 6:20 p.m. officers arrived at the scene and saw an adult male on the road who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pedestrian was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a car traveling southbound on Port Chicago Way, officials said. The driver is cooperating with police and it appears alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
