Chicken lovers rejoice, a much beloved fast food restaurant says it is coming to the Bay Area.
Chick-fil-A announced it will open 90 new stores this year and at least one of them will be here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Chick-fil-A (pronounced chick-filet) is a main stay in the South.
There used to be one in the Sunnyvale Town Center, but it closed years ago. The closest one for people needing a fix of an all white meat sandwich and waffle shapes fries is Fairfield.
The company did not list an exact location, but said the opening date is sometime next fall.
When the restaurant opened in San Diego about a year ago people literally camped out in order to be among the first in the door.
