A man was shot dead in San Jose on Monday night, and police are now looking for the shooter.
In a statement, police said the shooting was reported about 9:25 p.m. in the 5200 block of Monterey Road.
When officers arrived, the found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to police.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting, police said.
The identity of the suspect is unknown at this time and the suspect remains at large.
