Many students in the Bay Area are getting ready for a long holiday weekend with a question that still looms: When will they get to return to campus for in-person classes?
New guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was expected Friday and could help answer that question.
Some smaller Bay Area districts and private schools have opened with hybrid schedules. But for bigger school districts, it's tougher.
