A drive-by shooting in Stockton left three people dead and at least four others wounded outside a small market late Tuesday, according to police.
Just after 9 p.m. Stockton police tweeted the Northern California department was investigating a shooting in the area of Madison and Park streets, with one of the victims prounounced dead at the scene. Another victim later died at a hospital.
Police later confirmed the incident was a drive-by shooting outside a market.
Police said the shooting is believed to be gang related and took place in an area known for drug dealing and gang activity.
