Apple TV Delayed Over Cable Channels

Apple's plans to take over TV viewing has stalled because cable companies aren't signing on to the set-top box service, according to reports.

The Information first reported that Apple's TV plans may be delayed because it can't get cable companies to give their content to its service. Negotiations are taking longer than expected, with Apple saying it's because cable companies aren't being cooperative, but the companies say it's because Apple lacks the licenses to distribute the content, Business Insider reported.

Despite whatever the problems may be, Apple has added Fox Now and CNBC to Apple TV, but it's obvious that Apple needs to add more channels to attract more viewers. Until then, Apple will lose out to Netflix and Google's Chromecast.
