The A's have avoided arbitration with relief pitcher Ryan Dull, agreeing to a one-year contract.
Terms of the deal were not announced, but MLB Trade Rumors projected Dull to get $900K in arbitration.

Dull, 29, split time between Oakland and Triple-A Nashville last season. In 28 games with the A's, the right-hander compiled a 4.26 ERA and 1.15 WHIP.
Dull has spent his entire four-year career with Oakland, going 8-9 with four saves and a 3.63 ERA. He will continue to provide bullpen depth at a reasonable cost and still has options if the A's choose to send him to Triple-A.
After struggling in 2017, Dull righted the ship last year, particularly late in the season. In August and September, he pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and two walks.
Dull is the second relief pitcher the A's have elected to bring back for next season, joining veteran right-hander Fernando Rodney, who had his option picked up last month. Oakland's pen will also likely feature All-Star closer Blake Treinen, Lou Trivino, J.B. Wendelken, Yusmeiro Petit, and Ryan Buchter. Liam Hendriks and Cory Gearrin are both eligible for arbitration, while Jeurys Familia and Shawn Kelley are unrestricted free agents.
