Source: Raiders Trading Veteran WR Patterson to Patriots

On Saturday, Cordarrelle Patterson celebrated his 27th birthday. On Sunday, he got traded.

Patterson is headed from the Raiders to the Patriots, a source confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area's Scott Bair.

No word yet on what the Raiders will receive in return for the veteran wide receiver.

In his only season with Oakland, Patterson caught 31 passes for 309 yards. He also returned 19 kickoffs and averaged 28.3 yards per runback.

Selected by the Vikings in the first-round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Patterson spent his first four season in Minnesota. He signed a two-year deal with the Raiders in March of 2017.
