Thompson missed Thursday's 113-104 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers with an illness. The Warriors struggled to contain Sixers point guard Ben Simmons, and made fewer than 30 percent of their 3-point shots in Thompson's absence.
The 28-year-old scored 44 points and made each of his first 10 3-pointers in the Warriors' blowout win over the Lakers on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. His presence will be a boost to the Warriors, especially with news that LeBron James will not play for the Lakers.
