Dame D.O.L.L.A -- the alter ego of basketball star Damian Lillard -- has a special talent off the hardwood: Rapping.
But so does Kings rookie Marvin Bagley III -- that guy can throw down some rhymes (if that's the right terminology). But the two could be heading towards a rap battle, maybe even "8 Mile" style.
The Kings rookie went on ESPN's "First Take" Thursday morning and laid down the challenge.
Are we gonna see Marvin Bagley III and @Dame_Lillard go bar for bar on First Take one of these days?@MB3FIVE is ready whenever :eyes: pic.twitter.com/6bITh8kX86— First Take (@FirstTake) June 20, 2019
ESPN's Max Kellerman said Bagley and Lillard are the two best MCs in the NBA, but Bagley begged to differ -- he said it was himself. And Bagley didn't skip a beat when saying he would be happy to dual it out against the four-time All-Star.
Lillard then responded.

I won't be on first take... but if that's what he want ... shoot https://t.co/povZmf2a3F— Damian Lillard (@Dame_Lillard) June 20, 2019
So it looks like we have ourselves a competition, but it doesn't appear it'll be televised, unfortunately.

And if you're wondering if they're actually talented -- yes -- they're really good.
Bagley, a.k.a. MB3FIVE, shot a music video on the Tower Bridge overlooking the Sacramento River and honestly, it wasn't bad:
Lillard -- er I mean, Dame D.O.L.L.A is also skilled -- The Ringer even did its own research to determine that very question. They ended up giving him with an overall "C-plus" average, which would have been higher if he changed his name.
We know Bagley and Lillard will battle it out during Kings-Blazers games this season. Now we know they're game to compete off the court as well.
