Is James Harden the Best Offensive Player Ever? Daryl Morey Thinks So

James Harden is on one right now.

The Beard is cooking every team in his path.

After torching the Warriors for 44 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds, Harden is averaging 42 points, 9.5 assists and 7.1 rebounds over his last 11 games. It's a historic run. He's now averaging 33.3 points per game this season. That comes on the heels of leading the league in scoring last season and taking home the NBA MVP.

But is all of that enough to make Harden the best offensive player in the history of the NBA?

Rockets GM Daryl Morey apparently believes that and is willing to say it out loud.

We're not ready to say Harden is better than Michael Jordan or LeBron James or Wilt Chamberlain or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or Kobe Bryant or Karl Malone or any other all-time great.

But, we'll let Morey and Harden have their moment in the sunshine.
