Steve Kerr and the 2015-16 Warriors on Sunday tied the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record for most wins in a regular season with 72.
Early Monday morning, Phil Jackson fired off a congratulatory tweet ... and asked Golden State for more.
"Way-to-Go!!" Jackson wrote. "Congrats to GSt Warriors,SKerr&LWalton et al. The journey to 72 wins is a remarkable achievement-very impressive-now get #73."
Kerr played five seasons under Jackson from 1993 to 1998, winning three NBA championships and compiling the best record in NBA regular season history in the 1995-95 season.
The Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night at Oracle Arena with a chance to reach 73 and own the record outright.
