As his representatives meet with team executives from the Giants and Cardinals in Los Angeles, everybody wants to know what Giancarlo Stanton is thinking. Is he intrigued by either team's pitch?
We may have a little insight.
According to FanRag Sports, one person close to the trade discussions believes Stanton would '100 percent' pick the Giants over the Cardinals if that specific choice was presented to him.
The report by Jon Heyman also cites another source that "didn't see any way" Stanton accepts a deal to the Cardinals. It is believed that Stanton prefers the West Coast over the Midwest.
That could be good news for the Giants, who sent team officials to meet with Stanton's representatives on Thursday. Officials from the Cardinals met with those same representatives on Friday in Los Angeles.
