Warriors Cater to Big Spenders With Announced Oracle Arena Upgrades

The Golden State Warriors announced plans for a variety of upgrades to Oracle Arena on Monday, all of which will cater to big spenders and be done in time for the 2013-14 season.

The upgrades include 16 theater boxes, a 114-seat second row of floor chairs and a new VIP Club.

Tickets for the second-row floor seats will cost $750 each and a four-seat theater box for the season will require $90,000 or $350,000 for a four-year commitment..

“We are committed to continuing to invest in Oracle Arena and improve the game day experience for our fans,” said Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Welts in a statement.. “The new theater boxes, floor seats and VIP Club are a great way for more fans to have a first-class experience at our games.”

Purchasing the theatre boxes will also grant access to any concerts at the arena and according to the Warriors will “include a private Chef’s table dining experience with concierge, bartender and personal service attendant, complimentary food and beverage, enhanced technologies including iPads and charging stations, access to the exclusive Courtside and Sideline Clubs and more.”

The team sold out its previous allotment of 150 floor seats each of the past five seasons. Those with floor seats will have access to the new VIP Club, which will feature 11 high-definition televisions and serve complimentary food and drinks.
