Cooling Changes & Daybreak Drizzle - NBC Bay Area

    Cooling Changes & Daybreak Drizzle

A nice Summer-like blast of warmth kicked off Monday with low 80s around San Francisco and toasty mid-upper 80s nearly everywhere else inland. Times...are a changin' - however as a marine is deepening, onshore winds are strengthening and temperatures will soon be cooling because of it. Expect highs to drop 10-15 degrees around the coast and peninsula however we may still manage some 80s inland for Tuesday. An area of low pressure that's been sitting offshore will move inland to our north, while we're not expecting rain from this system, there is a slight risk for some hilltop showers Wednesday for areas Lake County northward. Otherwise, the Bay Area will see morning drizzle and some areas of heavy mist through Thursday morning before things warm up and dry out again to wrap up the work week and heading into next weekend. - Rob Mayeda (Published Monday, Oct 17, 2011) A nice Summer-like blast of warmth kicked off Monday with low 80s around San Francisco and toasty mid-upper 80s nearly everywhere else inland.
