Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg talks about his new diet.
If the CEO of Facebook has looked a little manlier to you in recent pictures it may be because of his new dietary practices.
While hobnobbing with some of the tech world's biggest names in Paris, Zuckerberg had an interesting conversation with Fortune magazine's Patricia Sellers.
Zuckerberg said he recently has taken to the practice of only eating the meat of animals he kills himself.
“The most interesting thing was how special it felt to eat it after having not eaten any seafood or meat in a while," he told Sellers. "I think many people forget that a living being has to die for you to eat meat, so my goal revolves around not letting myself forget that and being thankful for what I have."
So what has Zuckerberg been eating? He said he has already slain a goat with a knife, a pig and chickens.
And the diet seems to be working for him.
"I'm eating a lot healthier foods," he said. "And I've learned a lot about sustainable farming and raising of animals. It's easy to take the food we eat for granted when we can eat good things every day."
Zuckerberg said he had to ease his way into the new lifestyle choice by boiling a lobster alive before moving on to larger animals.
No word on whether the CEO, who is notorious for being at Facebook HQ at all hours of the day, has found the time to guy and clean the animals himself.
