Is it such a problem to ask millionaires and billionaires, the people who have lived fruitful lives off the capitalist system, to increase their taxes?

Republican Congressman David Dreier said that the key is closing tax loopholes that could generate revenue without raising taxes.

He also said that in order to jumpstart the economy we should consider lowering the top corporate tax rate, which is the highest of any nation in the world.

“We have the highest corporate tax rate, job creator rate, of any nation in the world, now that Japan has reduced their top rate,” said Dreier. “If we were to take that from 35 down to 25 percent, the thing I hear from people who want to create jobs and hire people, we would unleash tremendous economic job growth.”
