The man whose voice you may remember vividly from your childhood will be in a San Diego courtroom Wednesday.

The man who voiced the affable Charlie Brown in the "Peanuts" television series is accused of threatening and stalking a high-profile plastic surgeon after the surgeon refused to give him a refund for his ex-girlfriend's breast enhancement surgery, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Actor and Oceanside, Calif., resident Peter Robbins, 56, was arrested in San Ysidro on Sunday as he was crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

The actor pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday to 12 felony counts, including three counts of "making criminal threats" and one count of stalking.

During the hearing, prosecutors said the victims involved were Robbins' former girlfriend Shawna Kern and a La Jolla plastic surgeon named Lori Saltz.

According to the complaint, after Saltz performed a breast enhancement on Kern, she and Robbins broke up. Robbins then demanded his money back from the surgery, stalking Saltz and threatening to kill her if she did not pay him back, said Deputy District Attorney Elizabeth McClutchey.

Saltz has filed a restraining order against Robbins as a result of the alleged stalking and threats, and put an armed guard outside her medical office.

McClutchey added that Robbins has threatened to kill three people, including Kern and Saltz. He also allegedly threatened to kill a police officer.

The prosecutor said Robbins also admitted to attacking Kern and their dog.

Robbins was arrested Sunday while crossing into San Diego at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. The Customs and Border Protection Agency conducted a background check and noticed there was a felony warrant against Robbins from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, said Angelica de Cima with the CBP.

Robbins was taken into custody and then booked into the San Diego County Jail. During his arraignment Wednesday, his bail was set at $550,000.

His defense attorney said has no criminal history and has lived in San Diego for 30 years without ever trying to flee. Robbins' bail review is set for Jan. 28th.

Robbins was the voice of Charlie Brown for the TV specials "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."

He began his acting career as a child and has made cameo appearances in several other television shows since. In 2008, he visited San Diego for Comic-Con, signing autographs for fans of the "Peanuts" series.
