Brad Pitt: Ready to Quit Acting in 3 Years

Also says he and Angelina Jolie have not ruled out more kids

Brad Pitt says he's almost ready to quit acting.

In an interview with Australia's "60 Minutes," the silver screen superstar said he is thinking about retiring from the craft in "three years," when he'll be 50 years old.

When asked what he plans on doing afterward, the "Moneyball" actor said, "Hell if I know. Hell if I know. I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together. And getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher time otherwise."

In another interview with The Sunday Times' Culture magazine, the actor said he is nearing his "shelf life," the BBC reports.

Pitt also talked about his large family with equally-glamorous actress Angelina Jolie, telling "60 Minutes" he's not quite sure if the couple will be adding more to their brood of six kids (three biological, three adopted).

"Uh you know, I don't know that we're finished," Pitt told journalist Tara Brown. "I don't know yet. I don't know."

His kids are used to growing up in the constant lens of the paparazzi, still young enough to think "everyone has to deal with that." But being in the spotlight was something Pitt had to learn to deal with as he gained acting fame.

"I didn't deal with it very well for a good 10 or seven years," he said. "I didn't know what to do with it. I found it very discombobulating. I didn't think that far ahead, you know? I love films and wanted to be a part of films."
