A 17-year-old boy from Saratoga died after his vehicle crashed on state Highway 35 today near La Honda.
The crash was first reported at 11:57 a.m. on northbound Highway 35 just north of the Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve, in an area near the San Mateo and Santa Clara County borders, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
The vehicle reportedly rolled over on its roof. One person inside had to be extricated from the vehicle, CHP officials said.
At 12:43 p.m., CHP officials issued a Sig-alert for both directions of Highway 35.
