SF Prep Cook Goes Missing

San Francisco police are asking for the public's help in finding a  man who has been missing since Monday.
   
According to his friends Maurice James, 29, was last seen on in the early morning hours Monday by roommate.

He has not been seen since. His friends said he left behind his wallet, his cell phone and his identification.

James works as a prep cook at Atelier Crenn, but has not shown up for work all week.

His friend are distributing fliers in hopes someone will recognize him and help find him. There is a Facebook page dedicated to him and it has more than 600 likes.

James is described as a black man who is 6 feet tall, weighs about  155 pounds, and has black hair and green eyes.

Police said he was thought to be depressed at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call San  Francisco police at (415) 553-0123 or the department's missing persons unit  at (415) 558-5508.

His friends are offering a $2,500 reward in the case.
