The fatal burning of a woman at the entrance to Redwood Regional Park in Oakland Saturday night is being investigated as a suicide after an autopsy Tuesday found no signs of foul play, East Bay Regional Park District police said.

The woman, believed to be a 48-year-old San Lorenzo resident, was found at the Skyline Boulevard entrance to the park at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not yet been released.

The investigation is ongoing, however, an autopsy conducted by the Alameda County coroner's bureau discovered no evidence of foul play or other injury, police said.
