Mike Singletary is the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.

While Jim Harbaugh says he hasn't talked to anyone, Mike Singletary is ready to speak with someone.

A day after being removed from his job as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, Singletary is scheduled to speak with sports writer Joan Ryan at the Marin Civic Center on Feb. 16.

Singletary was at one point known for his speaking and motivational abilities but an awkward paid interview with a Bay Area sports reporter and a series of less than insightful appearances on his weekly scheduled radio show on KNBR removed some of his luster.

Regardless, the Hall of Fame linebacker will be speaking with Ryan as part of the Im Speaking series, which will also feature singer Sammy Hagar and outed CIA agent Valerie Plame-Wilson.

Tickets are still available for $44 each.
