Soggy Start to Saturday - NBC Bay Area

Soggy Start to Saturday

The weekend is off to a muggy, breezy start with occasional showers through midday. Temps will be fairly mild with highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s with some sunny breaks possible before our next rain event arrives by late PM in the North Bay and pushes southward into the rest of the Bay Area by evening. This rain may stall somewhat over the South Bay before clearing and lifting eastward by Sunday morning. We should see some clearing and drying conditions to wrap up Sunday into Monday. The forecast heading into the work week looks mainly dry with a notable exception to the rule being the North Bay, mainly Sonoma County northward were some rain at times will still be possible with the jet stream directing in non-stop rain into the Pacific Northwest. Expect rain to drop south into the Bay Area again by Wednesday as the jet stream begins dropping southward again.Hope you enjoy your weekend and remember to drop by your local Safeway stores to help us #EndHungerNow with a $10 donation to benefit Bay Area food banks.
