A television locale in Valencia turned deadly on Tuesday, and TMZ is reporting "NCIS" was filming there.

A security guard on a Valencia set where a television series was being filmed suffered fatal injuries Wednesday when struck by a van whose driver apparently lost consciousness, authorities said.

The accident occurred about 10:10 a.m. at 24800 Avenue Rockefeller, a vacant industrial building used for film and television productions, said sheriff's Sgt. Michael Konecny.

The website TMZ reported that an episode of the television series "NCIS" was being shot there at the time.

Konecny said the van had just dropped off passengers and was pulling into a parking lot when the driver blacked out due to an unspecified medical condition and the van accelerated, striking the guard.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
