Perhaps Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi shouldn't advertise how long it takes for him to come up with his anti-foie gras brainstorms, especially after the Chicago ban was repealed because it became a "laughingstock": "'Why not get ahead of the curve in San Francisco and spotlight the fact that it's extremely cruel and inhumane to be offering foie gras?'
