Gavin Newsom Lands Oliver Stone, Marissa Mayer, Lance Armstrong for New Show

Stars line up to appear on former mayor's new show

A week away from starting his new job, former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom has a "Who's Who" of guests lined up for his new show.

Last month, California's lieutenant governor announced that he would host his own hour-long weekly show on San Francisco-based Current TV.

The announcement was made shortly after the cable network parted ways with its most visible star Keith Olbermann.

Thursday it was revealed that Newsom's first guests on May 18th will be champion bike rider Lance Armstrong and Google executive Marissa Mayer.

The show will feature two one-on-one interviews with Newsom asking the questions and a short segment with the liberal politician offering his thoughts on a current topic.

Newsom has also lined up guests such as Tesla Motors co-founder Elon Musk, filmmaker Oliver Stone and more.

The show will air on Fridays starting May 18th at 7 p.m.
