Police Arrest Man in Connection With Stabbing Death in Oakland

    A man was stabbed to death allegedly by another man Friday night in Oakland, police said.

    The stabbing took place at 9:23 p.m. in the 10700 block of MacArthur Boulevard near Interstate Highway 580 and Knowland Park, Officer Cynthia Espinoza said.

    Police arrested a suspect in the stabbing. Both the victim and suspect are Oakland residents. The victim died at a hospital, Espinoza said.

    The coroner has not yet notified the victim's family and will not release the man's name.
