A man is in serious condition, while a suspect is on the loose after a shooting at Santa Clara's Capri Motel, police said Friday.
A motel manager said the crime occurred around 8:15 p.m. on the second floor of the building, which is located near the intersection of El Camino Real and San Tomas Expressway.
The same employee told NBC Bay Area that 60-65 motel guests have been evacuated.
According to police, the victim has been hospitalized.
No further details were immediately available.
