A young man is the third person to be murdered this year in the city of San jose.
Police are still on the scene at Blackford Avenue near Saratoga Avenue, trying to figure out who committed this crime.
When officers arrived around 10:15 p.m., they found the 21-year-old man lying in a parking lot in the back of an apartment complex, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Doctors at Valley Medical Center tried to save his life but the wound was too serious. He died a short time after arrival.
Police aren't releasing his name until they have notified his family. They do tell us that he did not live at that apartment complex. Police do not believe this was a random shooting.
