Stanford Loses Fiesta Bowl in OT

The game came down to field goal kicks and Stanford just couldn't make them.

A wild scoring affair in Arizona ended with a loss for the Stanford Cardinal.

Oklahoma State beat Stanford on a field goal in overtime. The final score was 41-38.

Stanford had what appeared to be a prime chance to win at the end of regulation, but freshman kicker Jordan Williamson missed a 35-yarder with :03 on the clock.

Williamson had a chance to redeem himself in the first possession of overtime, but missed again on a 43-yard attempt.

Oklahoma State took possession and scored the winning field goal after getting the ball to the one-yard line.

Brandon Weeden threw for 399 yards and three touchdowns to Justin Blackmon in his final collegiate game to give No. 3 Oklahoma State the win over Andrew Luck and No. 4 Stanford in an entertaining Monday night football game.

It was most anticipated postseason game outside of the BCS championship.  From the score you can see it was an impressive offensive show as two of the nation's best teams trading big plays and scores.
