A Palo Alto resident was robbed this weekend at her front door step.

Palo Alto police said the woman had just arrived home on El Cajon Way around 7 p.m. Saturday when a man ran up behind her, grabbed her by the shoulder and then took her purse.

He was last seen getting into a dark colored four-door car.  He has not be caught, according to police.

There were also two other robberies of men in Palo Alto earlier in the week.  In the earlier cases, the suspects had guns.

Palo Alto police used the cases to remind people to be aware of their surroundings, especially after dark. They also said it is best to comply with the robber's demands and not fight them. Palo Alto Online News reported both men who were robbed earlier in the week did fight back against the robbers.
