Stubborn Storm Persists Over the Weekend

A storm that has been over the Northwest Coastline for 4 days is finally pushing to the South. The result... Periods of rain over the Bay Area.

This much needed moisture will continue to linger for Friday as the front pushes South.  This will bring the chance of showers for the early AM commute.

Expect scattered showers to linger Friday afternoon & Saturday with periods of sunshine.

Round 2 will come on Sunday and Monday.

Get ready, there will be another weird storm track with this system as well.  A "cut off" low pressure system will meander to the South Sunday and bring more chances of rain.

The timing on this will also be hard to track as "cut off" lows usually break the rules.  Latest forecast models show scattered showers in the morning for the SAN JOSE HOLIDAY PARADE with moderate/heavy rain Sunday PM lingering into Monday.

This timing can and will likely change with the current trends.  Stay tuned...
