U.S. Highway 101 in Menlo Park Reopens After Flooding

A stretch of U.S. Highway 101 in Menlo Park that had been flooded in the Bay Area storms reopened early Friday morning just in time for people to get to work to nearby Facebook and NASA Ames.

The highway, between Marsh and Willow Roads, shut down late Thursday night because of large pools of standing water.

Commuters had to take a time-consuming detour through East Palo Alto.
