He's termed out, and now his bar is kicked out.
Former San Francisco supervisor Chris Daly turned "pub"lican after he was termed off of the Board of Supervisors in 2010. But now, a little less than two years after going into business with the politically-friendly Buck Tavern on Market Street, his bar is losing his lease and closing on Oct. 31, according to the San Francisco Examiner.
The bar played host to activists, political hopefuls, and, on one occasion, Mayor Ed Lee, the newspaper reported. Daly, known for outspoken antics while on the board, was behind the bar for much of the tavern's first year before segueing back into political duties for SEIU 1021, the newspaper reported.
"An impasse" with his landlord over the rent is the reason for the closure, the newspaper reported.

The bar sold inexpensive food and had politically-themed drink specials, the newspaper reported. The rent was too high for his location, at 1655 Market Street at Gough, he told the newspaper.
