Woman Suffers Critical Burns in Condo Fire in San Francisco

San Francisco firefighters raced to a second-alarm fire Thursday morning at a condominium building near Laguna Hospital where one woman was taken to the hospital with burns to the upper half of her body.

The fire was reported about 8 a.m. at 620 Clarendon Ave. in a three-story building.

Firefighters said one woman suffered critical burns.

Battalion Chief Denise Newman said one firefighter fell partially through the floor and was able to pull himself back up and was not injured.
