Lanes in the Posey Tube in the East Bay were shut down for hours late Wednesday due to police activity.
Police at the time of the closure warned motorists to expect significant traffic delays and to use alternative routes. The tube connects the cities of Alameda and Oakland.
Lanes have since reopened and no other information was immediately available.
