A man was killed in a two-alarm fire in San Jose this morning, fire Capt. Chuck Rangel said.
The fire was reported at about 10 a.m. at a triplex at 3409 Lake Garda Drive at Albano Circle in The Villages neighborhood.
The blaze, which was confined to one unit, was controlled at 10:22 a.m.
As firefighters were searching the home they found the man's body in a bedroom, Rangel said. His name has not yet been released.
A housekeeper suffered from smoke inhalation but was not taken to a hospital, he said. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
