New surveillance video may provide clues into a late night sexual assault in San Francisco’s Mission District.
The female victim was walking to her apartment on San Jose Avenue at 23rd Street on Friday about 1 a.m., according to police. Seconds later, the suspect crosses to her side of the street. As she disappears off screen, their shadows become visible.
The victim said the man came up up behind her, lifted up her dress and grabbed her. The victim screamed and the suspect fled the area.
The suspect is described as about 5'6" and 150 pounds.
