San Jose firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in a trailer home near a church in San Jose on Tuesday following a deadly fire about six hours earlier.
The most recent fire was reported at South 24th and East San Antonio streets around 5:45 a.m., and spread to a large warehouse building next door, according to fire officials.
The intersection is near Greater St. John Baptist Church at 1230 E. San Antonio St. and about a mile away from San Jose State University. One person suffered some smoke inhalation, fire officials said.
At 12:15 a.m., a man who loved to feed pigeons and cats died in a two-alarm fire that started in a guest house behind the main residence in the 400 block of South Willard.
