A Valley Transportation Authority bus caught fire Friday afternoon in San Jose.
The incident was reported at a bus yard on Zanker Road. VTA said the bus was not in service and there was no passengers on the vehicle. Several buildings were evacuated during the incident, according to the VTA.
The transit agency said two mechanics suffered smoke inhalation.
No other information was immediately available.
